Originally from Mexico, Raúl graduated from the University of British Columbia with a B.A. in International Relations. Raúl coordinates community outreach initiatives under Horizons’ maternal, newborn and child health project in Guatemala.

Debbie is a teacher with degrees in Education and International Development from Trent University. Debbie works with government and private donors, participates in Educational Tours to visit projects in the field and provides guidance on Ontario Curriculum links for Horizons’ educational work with public schools.

Richard’s discussion highlights how we can apply the lessons of the Rotary efforts towards polio eradication to securing water for the world.
