Learn, Commit & Reimagine: Creating Change

In her presentations, Kim Katrin Milan Kim uses personal experience as well as examples from case studies, social media, and current events to outline practical ways for individuals and organizations to make diversity and equity a greater consideration.

Kim Katrin Milan believes the grass is greenest where we water it. She inspires audiences to engage in their responsibility to make the world more ethical by taking a firm position on equity and diversity. Her intersectional approach to human rights reframes the golden rule so we treat others the way they want to be treated, rather than how we want to be treated. She helps her audiences achieve greater consciousness around diversity in all aspects of daily life.

Kim uses examples from case studies, social media, and current events to outline practical ways to make diversity and equity a greater consideration. By shedding light on the issues facing people of different social locations, Kim emphasizes our relationship of interdependence and the importance of leveraging one’s privilege to increase accessibility for others.
