When placed-based anchor institutions, such as the University of Toronto Scarborough, focus on what’s around them, and grassroots community groups, such as Rotary, come together to create a vision – great things happen. Andrew will share how the work of Scarborough institutions and the Scarborough Community Renewal Organization (an initiative of the Rotary Clubs of Scarborough), is converging to bring a new energy and pride in Scarborough’s future. In addition, Andrew will talk about how the university is playing its role in leveraging change and investment to help make the eastern GTA a great place to live, work, and play.
